India vs Zimbabwe ODI Series 2013 Live

India takes a very small break after the tri series triumph in the West Indies and they fly to Zimbabwe for an ODI series. Cricket returns to Zimbabwe in bits and parts but overall that is a good bright thing for Zimbabwean cricket. Especially with teams like India touring Zimbabwe, it would certainly bring back some glory to this cricketing nation.

We have provided the whole schedule for this five ODI match series below:

1st ODI – Harare – 24 July 2013

2nd ODI – Harare – 26 July 2013

3rd ODI – Harare – 28th July 2013

4th ODI – Bulawayo – 1st August 2013

5th ODI – Bulawayo – 3rd August 2013

Some big names are missing from the Indian squad such as MS Dhoni, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, etc. But still the team has players such as Virat Kohli, Raina, Jadeja, Dhawan, Sharma, Pujara, Shami, Rahane and many more to name. Virat Kohli has already expressed a lot of confidence in the team when he gets another chance to test his captaincy skills.

Although fans would consider this as a one sided affair, but Zimbabwe won’t let things be easy for India. Playing at home, they would enjoy home conditions and crowd support. India will play with the aim to win as many matches as possible and consolidate their top ICC ODI rankings. This series also gives bigger exposure to fresh faces in Indian cricket. Let us hope for a good cricket series between world champions India and hosts Zimbabwe.
