Triangular ODI Series 2013 in West Indies Live

After the conclusion of ICC Champions Trophy 2013, now its time for a tri-nation ODI cricket series. West Indies will host the triangular series with the other two teams being India and Srilanka. The series embarks on from 28th June 2013 and will continue till 11th July 2013. Every team will play two matches against each opposition with one final in the end.

Indian team continued its supremacy on the ODI cricket by winning Champions Trophy. They looked unbeatable right from the warm up matches till the finals! Shikhar Dhawan is in exceptional form with his bat as he scored loads of runs in the whole Champions Trophy. Ravindra Jadeja is doing a brilliant job with bat and ball and winning matches for the team. He moves up in top three rankings of ICC ODI bowlers and All-rounders’ rankings. MS Dhoni has been the most successful captain for India and also becomes the only captain to have won all three ICC events viz. ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy.

West Indies were doing good in the Champions Trophy until they played a rain affected match against South Africa and were eliminated. Their players have also done a good job in the recently concluded IPL. Especially Dwayne Bravo, Pollard, Gayle and Smith shined in the IPL. This team is full of potential with other players like Sammy, Rampaul, Samuels, Darren Bravo, etc.

Srilanka is observing a bad patch of form. They did good in patches during the Champions Trophy. None of the Srilankan players could impress this time in the IPL. Sangakkara played a good knock against England and he has to continue his form in the tri nation series. Jayawardene, Mathews, Kulasekara, Malinga and many more to name need to click in tandem if Srilanka has to impress in this tournament.
