June 4, 2015 — cricketloveAfter the conclusion of another successful IPL edition, Indian cricket turns its eyes onto International cricket. This time Indian team will tour to Bangladesh for a bilateral cricket series that would include one test match and three ODI matches. Under the new split captaincy, Indian team will be lead by Virat Kohli in test match while MS Dhoni will lead the team in the ODI series.
Considering the good form of Bangladesh team, Indian selection team hasn’t taken a chance this time. Rather than sending a second string team they have pitched in a full strength squad against Bangladesh. Although Bangladesh would be wary of this squad they would also be contented with the fact that teams like India aren’t taking them lightly anymore. Infact an experienced spinner like Harbhajan who was out of the team since 2013 is picked for this series. He will play in the test match that would be held at Fatullah beginning from 10th June 2015.
Bangladesh team did pretty well in the 2015 cricket world cup by qualifying to the knock out stage. They have few inspirational wins that have boosted the team’s morale. Not to forget they also handed over a whitewash to Pakistan in the recently concluded ODI series in Bangladesh.
Here is the full schedule for your reference:
1st Test – 10 to 14 June – Fatullah
1st ODI – 18 June – Dhaka
2nd ODI – 21 June – Dhaka

Apart from this series there are a lot of advancements happening around the world in cricket. New Zealand recently squared the test series against England. Australia has already started its tour to West Indies. Pakistan would soon travel to Srilanka for a bilateral series. They just finished a successful series against Zimbabwe in Pakistan. Good to see cricket returned to Pakistan after six long years.
